this app just pretends to work but all it does is make a duplicate of the website and when you hit a movie has to load the website on a server do not buy
It gives you an overview of your account but you still have to pull up a web browser to watch Netflix. It’s completely worthless, it isn’t just ‘One click,- you’re good to go.” It should be considered false advertisement.

Do not download! Waste of Money! I downloaded the app thinking that I would be able to watch tv/movies while working. ummmmm NO! All the app does is display your movies and shows, to watch it opens your browser. SO you can just log in from your browser. If I didn’t love Netflix so much…….but I still want my money back! >:(

The problem I have with Netflix on my mac is that it does not have a dedicated app like my televison or iOS devices do. As a result I don’t use it as much as I might if it lived in my doc. The fact that this app allows easy access to my Netflix account via the menu bar has increased my use of Netflix. I really like that I am able to quickly access the content. I don’t mind that it pops open a browser window for actaul viewing. It really only makes sense as I want the choice of browser size. It jumps you right to your choosen selection and starts playing. I make the browser small and put it in the corner when I have other tasks to do or I go full screen when I have deicated time. A useful app for a reasonable cost.

just bought this app and now i need to use pay another two bucks to stream movies? what kind of bs is this?
This app is litterally just to get you to your account home screen only. Once you play a movie it jumps to your browser. So all the great aspects that you think your getting Like watching a movie/show in an opate screen while doing some work - Doesn’t exisist. Definitely not worth $3. 6/12 Update - Shame on me this time. I saw an option to purchase the ability to stream the shows within the app. So I bought it. Now when I go to play them, Netflix is asking for silverlight plug-in which I already have installed/ re-installed to no avail. I can stream them from the browser just fine, so the issue is with this app. Please either deliver a usable product or remove it from the app store.
Ever since the update to the Netflix app on my Macbook pro I am not able to open the App Flix for Netflix app. Please go back to the current version or get this one working. Very disappointed!

this app is horrible, it freezes constantly then it won’t close correctly, i would just rather open it up on the net and watch shows there instead of using the app.
